That is if you're a lightweight, but Floyd's a welter who had a belt at LMW!

He can't win unless he outwork Pac.

Or, even hurt him. But Pac has the greater probability of hurting Floyd with voluminous punches he hasn't seen in boxing career.

Yeah, but if Pac hurts him, he's dead meat.

Pacman destroys Welterweights without once getting hurt.
Floyd avoids all the top welterweights under 35, gets wobbled against the older WW's and has a 15% KO ratio.
He has little chance vs. Manny and we have little chance of ever seeing that fight happen.
Floyd only can win by going 12 rounds with Manny. He throws very few punches, no combinations and has zero chance to beat Manny.

you're underestimating the power that comes with dominating and controlling your opponent to the point where he eats leather every time he is the aggressor.

as much as pac is a brilliant offensive fighter, floyd is the best boxer - thinker in the game.

you people should know this. there's no point using heavy-handed guys as a benchmark for saying what floyd can or can't do if he fights pac.

    Answer this:
Who's the stronger puncher? Cotto vs Floyd, Margarito vs Floyd?
If Pac can take the punches of Cotto and Margo, Pac can go through Floyd's punches and execute his offense on him.

you're not reading what i'm telling you.
try fighting a guy who fights like you do - and then try fighting one who's a better boxer but doesn't hit half as hard.

being a stronger puncher doesn't mean **** if the other guy is landing and you are getting nailed each time you come in.

i'm not saying this because this is how it will go down, and i'm not saying it because it isn't either.

nothing ****s up your mental game more than the example i just gave you, just like a cotto or margarito fighti9ng a smaller man who also lives to dominate but he's better at it.

the point is - you need to realise why floyd is so good at what he does..and why it works.

you're using the wrong example 100%

My point is, and you've not been reading the meat of my thread, if Floyd can't hurt Pacquiao, then Pacquiao will somehow hurt him one way or another during the fight, and Pac will dominate the fight from thereon. He may good but his goodness will not be effective in fighting a boxer like Pac. Floyd has not fought anyone like Pac who is like buzzsaw and the Energizer. Floyd has to outlast Pac to win.

    tell me why then.....

some of you don't realise how shattering it is to completely take your opponent out of the fight.

there's no momentum, nothing to use to push yourself back into the contest.

preparation for a fight - and doing it right - makes you carved out of wood and you feel like superman. completely. because it's all about pushing your limits and redefining what your limits are time and again.

but what floyd does can leave a fighter 'floating on air' - i don't know how else to say it. you've done everything right, you're ready but you're outclassed.

again, i'm not saying this is how it will happen, but if you don't know how floyd destroys his opponents mentally then you don't know how he fights.

don't make the mistake of thinking pac is going to be the boxer if this fight ever happens. he won't be.

you keep saying 'hurt' in a physical sense, but the point i'm making is that hitting your opponent with less power but more precision and putting him in two minds when he comes forward is a powerful tool.

again....i'm not saying this is how it will be. read what i'm telling you.

Pac has been hit so many times by bigger opponents, but he never lost his focus. It's all in the mind.

JMM 2 clicks north and still went to the scorecards.

OSDT was the mental game against Pacman but failed miserably.

    He can't hurt Pacman.
