    thats my whole point....
you try getting hit when your offense doesn't get through repeatedly and see what it does to you mentally.

if it plays out like the marquez fight it'll be a ******* - because pac was still effective.

but you have to give floyd credit for doing what he does best to realise why it might not work that way.

you're still looking at 'hurt' as a purely physical thing.

Floyd is no superman. He can be hit. He almost got knocked out by grandpa Shane who had no energy to follow up. But not in Pac's case who is a strong finisher. Don't you wonder why Floyd is running away from a $40M payday. He's afranid to lose his 0. If a fighter is a threat to him, he will not touch him with 10 feet pole. In other words, 50% of the battle is already lost for Floyd, and a victory for Pacquiao.

i've been telling you why floyd doesn't need to be overbearing like cotto and margarito - and i've said at least twice now that i'm only telling you what floyd does well and why he wins the way he does.

i've also said it's not a prediction one way or the other, so why do you keep thinking it is and why do you keep feeling you have to defend pacman's credentials?

    like i said...read what i'm posting....

Staredown, trash talk won't work against Pacman. ODLH sent Pacman a boxing gloves at his training camp with signature saying He'll knock Pacman out. That did not trow Pacman out of his game.

    OSDT, Roids, A-Side meff? Failure.

    He still can't hurt Pacman.

    Potshot can't hurt Pacman.

So what are the other mental game Floyd have under his sleeve?

A potshot counter can't hurt Pacman.

What other mental games Floyd have under his sleeve?

    He still can't hurt Pacman.

You're assuming that Pac doesn't get his offense successfully. What if he did despite being hit, assuming Floyd execute his counters. As i've said, Floyd is hittable, even by ancient grandpa like Mosley.
When Floyd is hit, that's when he becomes vulnerable to a young and focused fighter like Pac.

You're just so assuming that Pac won't do anything to offset Floyd's counterpunches. The best that Pac can do is his offense. He's a buzzsaw and Floyd's will have his hands full countering Pac's punches from weird angles.

It's the way Floyd makes his opponents over-think.

His defence (and reflexes and movement) frustrates most people, who generally fall into a shell of trying to "think" too much about how to get around it.

They ultimately become lost, allowing Floyd to dominate.

Manny's gotta just come out there and do his game the way he knows how to do it, for 12 non-stop rounds.

Don't try to out-think Floyd; he will fail.

Pacquiao will have to cut off the ring, and stay off the ropes, also he better not put both of hes hands up like he always does or Floyd will pick him apart. Depending on what style Floyd is fighting, He needs to find a way to get in and break Floyd's defense, he shouldnt settle and be hesitate to come in, because Floyd will use hes feints, head movement and set up traps, also Floyd will start to figure him out. Pacquiao should fight the way he does when he wants to finish hes opponent as soon as the bell rings. Start fast, End fast for Pacquiao to win.
