The amount of hate and flak haye gets regarding the klitschkos is ridiculous. This defo seems one situation where both parties are at fault- yet haye seems to be taking most of the blame. Lets be honest- Klitschkos fights over the last few years have had some pretty **** opponents (Rachman, Peters)- yet he seems to get away with it. Is the hate justified?
It's not severe enough IMO. People are starting to see through him and all his Dirrell'ing on Sky Sports News, there's only so long the likes of Steve Bunce can peddle the ''He wants the fight, he wants it, trust me....'' stuff. If he fancied the job he'd take it, simple as. He's been offered 50-50 when he's essentially a challenger, and it's his one opportunity to knock over a genuine Hall of Fame opponent. But no. He prefers talking instead. Fair enough, but cut the crap.
No, it's childish "fans" over-reacting. Yes, it's disappointing, but the way some people act you'd think Haye had started killing children.
Its pathetic. Last week i thought people were starting to understand the Klitschko's little games of trying to corral Haye towards Vitali on a covert level, while claiming Wlad "wants" to fight him but "can't"
Its more than justified. Hes taking the boxing world and the fans for mugs while clearly shitting out of fighting a Klitschko. He HAS ducked out several times. Its undeniable. As for negotiations and Wlads slave contracts ect....everyone in boxing knows that Haye/Booth are the most difficult and unreasonable people to deal with in boxing.
what a terrible post. Agreeing to every concession bar one is difficult? Also, Haye pulled out once. He's never signed to fight other than in 2009. And whether you believe he was injured or not, he certainly shouldn't fight wlad for nothing! Meanwhile wlad's fighting chisora - an even less worthy challenger than Audley. Hilarious and hypocritical.
yeah, but Klitschko is such a legend.... Haye should back down to greatness and accept the terms. wins over sultan ibragamov and ross purrity aren't easy to come by you know. oh yeah, wlad lost to purrity. BUT he's still a legend and an atg in boxing
If the fights didnt/dont happen then he was always going to get a big backlash because he was talking about the Klitschko's every day for months before he'd even moved up to heavyweight, "I'm going up to heavyweight to do this and that" etc then you had stuff like going after Wladimir up that escalator, it was all one way, they just reply to the crap he comes out with. He's also the one who signed and pulled out. So whether its deserved or not he's always gonna get a lot of flak. I'm finding the whole thing boring as hell and hope he sticks to his retirement date this year.
Klitschkos aside, Haye deserves criticism. He's had 4 very poor fights since he moved up. He's been fighting the poorest level of opposition out of himself and the 2 bros. Added to that all the shite he was talking about their opponents when he was moving up, and he deserves loads of criticism.
Not at the minute, no. I think it will be if he opts to retire in October without fighting either Klit. Long time 'til then though.
