Booth said: “I just hope Vitali has a bigger set of man jewels than his brother, who should go into politics and work as a spin doctor. The Wladimir Klitschko fight is dead in the water. He didn’t want it, simple as that, but David Haye’s career does not revolve around him. Unlike all the 50-odd opponents who Wladimir has fought, David is not going to sit around waiting for him.

“Vitali Klitschko’s fight with Solis for the WBC title is interesting because, if Vitali wins, David would love to take him on. If Solis wins, it will be a rematch of their fight in the world amateur championships, where Solis won and David took the silver. That would be a great fight.”

So far they have shown no interest in Vitali and now we are to believe this crap?

There is no mention of May in those quotes. I'm not sure where they've got that from for the title of the article.

Does Booth think by talking for long enough something will happen, he needs to get someone who understands negotiations in and give the stream of media chat a break

It's exasperating watching Haye and Booth in action...can't take it too seriously.

Why are they so scared of Chagaev? Do they really think Haye will lose this bout?

Even if Haye lost I bet the Klits would still want to fight him, though not for 50/50.

But anyway what this article tells me is Haye might just sit around until mid-summer and then fight Vitali or Wladimir. If Haye doesn't have a fight made by March (and that would be the case if he's waiting on Vitali) then he probably won't fight until June.

Edit....yeah I guess the likeliest explanation is this just BS and Haye will fight Chagaev or a no-hoper next.

That's a new one. Even Beeston hasn't accused him of ducking Chagaev yet.

If Vitali fights March 19th and the fight took place in the last weekend of May which is the 28th it would be 8 weeks apart......wasn't that the problem with the Wlad fight?

Vitali is much the easier fight for Haye in my opinion.

Word. He's so slow, I don't know why they weren't chasing this fight in this first place.

Booth and Haye are about as reliable as a ****ing dogs piece of **** on the floor getting trodden on everyday, and ground into the corners of the pavement.

How many more times do we need these losers to tells us about this fight and that fight, just look at Hayes opponents so far, a joke.:patsch

How many times have Haye/Booth switched between wanting to fight Wlad and Vitali? I've lost count...

I'd much prefer to see this fight. Haye - WALDO would be a bit of a stalemate with a lot of posturing but I get the feeling that VITLAY would force Haye to fight. The build up would be great.
