I dont under rate Bradley he is a good little fighter, and how does his skills superside Khans? If Khan didnt get caught with that big shot in the 10th he was mainly schooling Maidana thoughout the fight with maybe only losing 2 or 3 rds up until that 10th round big shot. But thats boxing 1 punch can change a fight, Khan took his best shots and didnt go down, he showed his heart of a champion. Dont under rate Maidana the guy is a beast, he will keep coming. Maidana would give Bradley or Alexander hell, i think he would man handle Alexander and KO him late on. Khan would mainly beat up Bradley from range and keep battering him with that long left jab, Bradley likes to jump in and land hooks (which even more lessens your reach) Khan would stay away and do his damage from range with some fast 4, 5, 6 punch combos.
Why do you think he would be able to beat a slippery customer like Bradley at range when he couldn't do that to the much less skilled Maidana?
Don't think it;s so much he couldn't as he chose not to. Khan has proven he can fight at range. I think aginst MM Khan wanted to answer the critics and prove he has a chin. He just about pulled it off.
Khan's jab is overrated. It's all well and good doing it against Paulie who was happy to fight on the outside and who's head movement was poor. Where was his jab against Maidana?
I don't buy that mate. I realise he neglected his game plan but Khan never went in there planning for it to go like it did, IMO.
Is Bradley Maidana(pressure fighter)? Does Bradley hunt you down like a mad man on drugs for 12 rds? Khan vs Bradley will be a boxing chess match like Kotelnik, Paulie fight, and in a chess match you in Khan's zone, you are not beating Khan on points, and now after Maidana looks like punchers are losing that battle also. Khan is bigger, faster than Bradley, Khan when it comes to boxing Khan wont get out boxed.
I don't think he planned for it to go like that but I think he fought the fight the way he wanted to and it did go like that. Can't see him doing it again, it'll be safety first for a while.
Bradley is versatile, if he has to pressure Khan, then he will - and to good effect. Trust me, it wouldn't be anything like Kotelnik or Malignaggi, who were tailor-made for Khan and neither had a plan B.
Bradley is one of the most rounded fighters around right now. You do realise that not just pressure fighters fight on the inside and in the pocket don't you? Don't expect Timmy to stand on the outside like Kotelnik and Paulie. He will fight on the outside at times but the thing about him is that he has a Plan A,B,C... etc. Timmy will outbox Khan... mark my words. :yep
I know that fight wont be like Kotelnik and Paulie, i only refer to them because of the type of fight. Yes for Bradley to beat Khan he would HAVE TO GET INSIDE, i just feel Khan will land to more from the outside. It will be a great fight to watch.
Yet to see someone outbox Khan, Speed Kills Cant wait to prove people wrong AGAIN... I dont bet, but my Vcash will go mad...
lol you havent answered my question. Khan can not fight up close he has no inside game whatsoever he doesnt even know how to tie up properly, he cant fight going backward, bradley is relentless and brings pressure he has good head movement and will likely slip khans jab and work on the inside khan wont know what the **** to do and it will be game over
Who has Khan been in with that could outbox him? High guard, ultra eastern european style, Kotelnik? Past prime, taylormade, Paulie? I do bet.... and I can't wait. :yep
