    Yeah, that was my understanding.

    Fines are rarely compounded by fights being called off. I really doubt Lara is scared of Raines, even with a whole extra pound and a half. :lol:

    Huh.

    Boxrec has this guy's wrong name - or Telefutura does.

    According to BR, it's Jose Aldredo Lugo. According to Telefutura it's Luis Lugo. (It's definitely the same guy - both have the same record listed of 11-14-1). :think

    OK...the announcer just called him Luis Lugo (and his corner weren't like "WTF?"). That's his name. Boxrec is way off.

    Lugo jabs and moves to Gomez's right, then his left. Gomez just watches him. Big hook by Gomez as Lugo leaps out of the way. Lugo feints a jab to the body and leans back. Gomez charges forward with a short combo as Lugo covers up and shoots back off his toes. Lugo cleaves to the ropes and throws soft jabs and lead rights. Gomez looks much stronger, and it's showing also in how easily he backs Lugo up with blocked shots. Lugo takes some bicep to the grill as he ducks a hook during an exchange. Slow pace. Lugo jabs and pulls out. Hook to the body by Lugo. Gomez misses a hook and Lugo grabs him and whacks him with a right to the back. Gomez double-hooks and backs Lugo up. Overhand right from Gomez, and he gets Lugo trapped in a corner and jabs him in the throat. BIG 1-2 from Gomez and Lugo is hurt badly and stumbles in a corner but survives.
