Mosley hit Margarito with those bombs flush for 9 rounds solid before Margarito broke.

Mosley hit Floyd with that bomb once and he was all over the place.

I say his chin pretty good, but not spectacular. His recover rate though is excellent.

Margarito took a younger Mosley multiple flushed, both feet planted, rights and left and did not buckle until deep in the late rounds.
PBF took a counter right in the 2nd round and buckled. It was not his chin that was impressive but his recovery rate and determination to counter immediately right back and control the action again.

His chin is good. Not excellent, not iron, and sure as hell not ATG. It's good.

What is magnificent, however, is his recuperative powers and his instincts when hurt/under pressure.

 

He has a decent chin, but I would say his defence is a lot better. A good chin + Great defence= Iron chin.

 

Floyd doesn't have a iron chin. He has a good chin possibly great, but def not iron. He recovers great though. When Floyd got hit with that right by Shane his hands were completely down. He really didn't even see the punch coming until it was to late. So for him to take a Shane Mosley bomb shows he has a good chin.

that's why he's afraid of pac coz he don't want to experience the pain from the ONE big shot by shane again. it was to traumatic that he think he can't manage to experience in the hands of a smaller man like pac. mosley have one big shot, and he knew pac has a LOT of it for him, and he think he will die from blunt force trauma in the head lol. every nyt he has a nightmare always thinking of it.

how can anyone stomach the comparison of Floyd's chin to those of real ATG chins like hagler. Hagler took Hearns' best punches in an all-out brawl and didn't blink. Mosley was able to slip one punch and floyd was doing zab's version of chicken dance lol.
