People need to get a few facts straight. First, Haye has to have a signed contract in place for April 3rd. The WBA haven't given an extension for a unification fight. If he doesn't he gets stripped. Second this makes a Wlad fight impossible due to Wlad - Chisora April 30th. Being a voluntary defense there are options so if Wlad happens to lose the rematch/Vitali clause would be next. Haye can sign a unification fight with the Vitali/Solis winner quite easily. The fight takes place 19th March giving 2 weeks for negotiations and because there is no rematch clause due to it being a mandatory defense which simplifies things greatly. Simples.
Haye acts like a clown. Everyone with a brain can see this. First he says 8 - 9 weeks are to short to promote Wlad vs. Haye, now this time is not too short to promote Vitali/Solis vs. Haye.

Yep. That's what their main reason has been all this time. That there's no chance a fight of his magnitude can be prepared for in 8/9 weeks.

The original "I'm done with him statement" statement directed at Wlad had no mention of not enough time for promotion did it? Is this a recent statement? Can I have a link to read please.
