I hope he can. If he uses his speed and jab, boxes at range and relies on his skills, he's got enough to do it. But if he does what he's been doing against the people he's fought so far (who've not been punchers) then we will find out if his chin is as good as he says it is.

I just worry a bit because he's been fed a succession of non punchers. Macintosh being an exception. Its the only question that I feel needs answering about clev and we'll see if he answers it in this in this fight.

the cheeky ******* said on Ringside that "its a good fight for Scotland!"

    As you say "**** off!"

the Appleby-Laryea fight was rotten. Appleby perhaps looked past him seeing as the Burns fight was being touted in the press.

Is Warren going to do to Burns as he did to Calzaghe, pick out opponents ranked outside the top 10 within the WBO?!

Its a joke. Burns was talking about unification after the Martinez fight, and in a division that isn't all that strong then Burns has a good chance in doing that.

Totally Agree Mate. Layrea won more due to Appleby being poor then him being good. This is a average commonwealth title defence....for a world title fight..:-( shocking!.

How wonderful to see Britain's Most Successful Promoter providing a warts and all view of big fight negotiations.

What a trooper for not taking the opportunity to launch a pop at a rival without a right to reply.
