Braehmer ordered to start talks with Cleverly

So what? It's going to be more profitable for him to just bin the title? No chance.

No chance it happens in the Millenium. When has Cleverly shown himself to be a draw in Wales?

 

There's a chance Braehmer will smash Clev. Nathan is hittable and Braehmer can bang a bit.

 

Cleverly was very disapointing in his last fight, i know the circumstances might've had something to do with it. But he's always displayed the same weaknessess even in his best performances...didn't like that he was seemingly having problems with the slightest bit of movement as well. Not good.

 

Clev has been waiting for this fight for what seems ages now. i hope he gets to win this in the ring, as to be upgraded from interim-champ would be an anti climax.

as for no fan base in wales, he's not fought here since Nov 07, he fully deserves a home fight in my opinion! i think the CIA would be a good venue for this fight.

 

If he uses his skills, Clev has the opportunity to win big here. I see something similar to Froch - Abraham if Clev keeps out of range, uses his quick hands and moves in and out.

But as others have said, if there is one thing about Braehmer, he can really punch. Clev's never fought anyone with genuine one punch concussive ppower. Clev will have to stick to a game plan and show us more than he has done on the back foot previously. If he reverts to type and stands there with this bloke, he will be asleep before he knows it...

Hope he does it though and in style. :good

On the Boxrec forum there is someone saying the 19th of march as the likely date and 85 % London.Wembely Arena looks likely for the card if it`s that date,as the o2 has X factor live on.

 

Braehmer will jump at the chance of a fight at Wembley. He was all set for a unification with Shumenov in Kazakhstan in front of five drunks and a dog. The purse for that one was I believe a bag of crisps and a Borat DVD.

I like clev, hes a good fighter and seems like a decent lad. He has some weaknesses but everyone does, especially at that level. I think he overates his own power a bit and he thinks hes got a granite chin which he may have but best not to let them test it though. He will improve im sure. Nice to see him in there with and couple of decent fighters first but it aint gonna happen.

I think he will win and can go onto dominate the division as long as he learns from his fights.
