Over on the Scene of Boxing, Boente is confused by Booth's latest comments of wanting to fight Vitali in May. Boente has reiterated that the fight can't happen in May due to no available dates and no stadium. He said whether it's Wladimir or Vitali, the fight can only happen in July.

So I guess that's good news then, eh? That important July 2nd date which we've all been screaming about, is now feasible if Vitali is the opponent.

this is good news because vitali actually has a a pair of bollocks and would be happy to get the fight on, unlike little brother vlad who is currently hiding under vitali's skirt.

Haye wouldnt fight Vlad as the 2nd July fight was too soon after the Chisora fight, but he is willing to fight Vitali so soon after Solis. Haye is full of **** and has just woken up to the fact that he maybe isn't as important as he first thought, looks like Vlad has got HBO interested with Adamek. Will be interesting to see if Haye will fight a mandatory before the July 2nd if this fight happens

So Vitali is also unwilling to fight away from Germany?

    Terrible.

What's so terrible about that? A fight in Germany will draw more numbers. With the purse being a 50/50 split of everything, it's better this way. Not to mention, Wladimir and Vitali being the more accomplished fighters, have the right to stage the fight on home soil.

I'm encouraged by Boente's comments that the Vitali talk is possibly a ploy for negotiations with Povetkin. Haye-Povetkin would be a better fight than Haye-Klitschko.

I think Booth knows all too well that a May date is not available. But his recent comments of wanting Vitali for that date, are just a way of giving off the impression that he and Haye are serious in trying to make these fights happen. I guess we'll see how serious they are when they respond to Boente.

One of two things is going to happen here. Vitali and Haye will actually make the fight, of Haye will claim he attempted to fight Vitali and Wlad but could not make a deal with either of them. Then he could say he "tried". One thing that is apparent is Haye seems to be the only fighter out there who condiders the Klitschkos unreasonable. When Hay backed on on Wlad the first time he renegotiated a title fight with Chagaev in two weeks.. He negotiated a rematch fight with Peter in just a few days. I like a fight with Adamek more myself. In Poland at a barand new stadium. Adamek actually fights with his fists, not his mouth. Plus he fought and beat Arreola on his own turf in L.A. Say what you want about Arreola, they sttod there and traded and made an awesome fight, better than that vomit bag of a fight between Haye and Harrison. So pitiful that the boxing commision actually considered taking his purse away.
