You seem to be under the impression that Solis was some sort of amateur super mega star, which is not the case. If you know anything about amateur boxing you'd know Robert Helenius who is much younger than him has beaten him as an amateur.

You're brave watching that **** three times. I caught some highlights on YouTube and wasn't impressed, just bored. Plus, having seen many of your posts regarding Solis, your prediction is hardly a shock.

You go months without posting anyway.

Stronger? Really? Based on what? If we went on conditioning I don't think he is. VITLAY is rock solid and Solis is pudgy at the best of times. They've competed at different levels.

And faster? In terms of footwork Solis looks like he is fighting in mud half of the time.

He has a very good amateur pedigree no doubt. But as a pro he has been nothing short of lazy, ploughing his way through a string of meaningless fights. The guy has no discipline to even get in shape anymore.

He's also fought at a fairly poor level without a big notable win. He's also made himself look awfully one paced and disinterested.

Where to even start with this one.....

He's never really been tagged either, especially by someone who has a habit of wearing people down. VITLAY is not a massive puncher, but you had better believe that Solis will be eating shots all night.

Too slow for what? A plodder? A one paced plodder? :blood

Constant aggression? I've had more aggressive shits.

You are the only poster I've seen arguing that it's a positive for Solis to come in FATTER.:lol:

I know you're in love with Solis because he's Cuban, but the facts are, if he looks anything at all like he did against Austin, he will get absolutely destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali will destroy him. Only way he has a chance is if he loses 35 pounds.

Hmmm let me see..........oh yeah it's b/c you CAN'T come into a klitschko fight out of shape and expect to win, especially against Vitali. Vitali has only lost a few rounds his whole pro career. If Solis expects to win this fight he better come in shape b/c he'll need all the cardio he can get in order to attempt to outlast high ouput of punches that Vitali throws every fight.

I wish I could find Solis-Austin online so I could post the video here...looks like it's not on Youtube.

It was a HORRIBLE fight..Solis looked like he was lumbering around the ring with both feet in cement buckets, and Austin gave him just about all he could handle.

    Here's Solis against a 280+ pound Welliver.

And here's Solis against the great Julius Long (who Samuel Peter, Alexander Ustinov, Audley Harrison, & Tye Fields all KO'd).

Solis USED to be good....50 pounds ago he was a good fighter. Right now I believe he's just way too heavy to have any chance at all against the top heavyweights.
Perhaps he will get in shape for the fight against Vitali, it's possible, I just don't see it happening.

Did you know his conditioning trainer is Pedro Diaz, same guy who oversees Pascal's conditioning? I love irony.

#1: Take the words in red off.

    #2: I don't care about reason #3.

#3: Take the words in brown off.

#4: I don't care about Solis' chin, Vitali will land a lot.

#5: Reason 6 is perfect, but we don't know who will take him, that's why I think Haye better take on Vitali first instead of Wlad.

#6: If Solis doesn't respect Vitali, he'll pay for it and big.

The fact that you feel the need to put "(and not for food)" in your post says a lot. Solis is way to heavy.

Considering Vitali hasn't lost a round during his comeback, I don't see him losing this one. Solis will have to be much improved on his last outing to even mount a challenge.
