Because Greb was past it, half blind and still won it quite clearly against Walker who would later go on and prove that he wasn´t to small for ww.

All the press i've read had him as a favourite the night before, too, although the odds vary.

If there is a source on Armstrong being made favourite, I would love to see/hear about it.

I'm not at all sure what this article says, because it's impossible to view the actual newspaper print on the blackberry device I'm currently browsing from, BUT I think it's one of the articles that say the odds of Ross have shortened through the postponement, and are close as fight approaches. :

The article describes the odds narrowing with Armstrong still the underdog. The article predicts the odds will be near as even (6-5) by the time the opening bell rings, basically very close to what you were saying in your original post.

On the 28th, Armstrong was a favourite!

That's quite mad. Jim Jacobs (of all people) spent the long weekend telling people that Armstrong was going to win, that he had an inside line...I wonder if that shortened things up? It seems odd, that people were rushing to put money on Armstrong, he was taking the delays a good deal worse, and that was reported.

Its one of the greatest wins ever for sure. Right up there with Duran over Leonard and certainly superior to Greb over Walker.
