Lenny Zappa v Miguel Vazquez added to Cotto-Mayorga undercard

    For Miguel Vazquez's IBF lightweight title. Was going to watch Cotto-Mayorga regardless, but this addition makes it even better.

    Hope this gets some media coverage. Vazquez is pretty solid and has only lost to the highly-rated Saul Alvarez (twice) and the current #1 and top #10 p4p JWW Tim Bradley.

    Win wise, some solid wins against similar-calibre oppoents in Bredis Prescott, Ricardo Dominguez and Ji Hoon Kim (Whom Lenny also defeated in emphatic fashion). I'm thinking it will be a fun fight to watch due to styles.

    New IBF lightweight champion in March.

    If Lenny can win this fight (and best of luck to him), the world will be his oyster.

    Big card, big tv through Showtime and for a major title. I know he's with Gary Shaw, but working with Top Rank on this certainly open's up Lenny to future bouts with Top Rank's L/W big guns (Soto / Antillon / Vasquez if rematch warranted, even a legend in Barrera who Top Rank have involvement and can make a match)

    Good luck to him, a fine young man who works hard and is a credit to the sport.

    Also the winner of Acosta-Rios for the WBA title are all with Top Rank.
    Golden Boy only really have Juan Manuel Marquez, Jorge Linares, Michael Katsidis & Robert Guerrero inside the top 10-15 at Lightweight.

    Oh **** Kegs your right, I completely forgot about that bout coming up. There's plenty of action at 135lbs and as I said, should Lenny be successful, the opportunities really will open up for him.

    Good luck to him alright...i hope he can pull it off tho i think it be very tough.
