Oh dear. Surely you don't believe Khan is the world champion?

He's got his chance. He's calling Khan scared is all, which is a bit silly in my eyes.

He could go fight Ortiz, Maidana etc etc and become Khan's mandatory and then enforce so he could get a 55/45 split, but he's not going to do that now is he.

So he should definitely consider being lucky to get the shot, because it's not like Khan was obligated to give him a shot at the title.

As TFFP said, the offer could have been harsh, or it could have been reasonable. We don't know, so I'm not going to jump to conclusions and blame someone for this.

You mean, The RING Champion? If that was what Will was referring to, then what is Pacquiao considered to be? :huh

I don't quite understand. Does that mean the majority of title's he's picked up over the course of his career are nothing because he's not 'The Ring' champion at a certain weight? :huh

Some of Pac's titles don't count for much, it's the wins what matter.

Khan is at worst no.2 at LWW. There is Champion at the weight yet.

running scared  most fights like to price themselves out vs khan. they treat it as a golden ticket rather than an opportunity they sometimes don't deserve.

peterson and mccloskey don't intrigue me at all.

    Yes.

Pacquiao's 154 "title" means **** all, as do most of the titles in the sport.

Team Khan have a history of being cheapskates, look at the Rubio fiasco. Think Khan needs to take as much of the purse as he can get just to cover Freddie's and Alex's training bills!

 Funny that, because Pacquiao is always renowned as the guy who won X amount of title's, never the guy who beat X.

    They do? :think

Tell me more. I'd love to hear how stingy Team Khan are. Could you lay out some figure's? :think

Maybe you know some insight on what goes on? :think

    Exactly WBA.

He has not proved himself the number one in the division yet and if you think he has you are a mug.

For the record I'm a Khan fan and you won't find me bashing him in threads!!!

True but 20 years down the road boxing fans will discuss who he beat rather than what bauble was on the line. It'll be about the quality of opposition he defeated across numerous weight classes regardless of title.

I mean Pac-Morales I, II and III were for some shitty WBC intergalactic thing title but no one looks at that do they?

You could have stated that you were talking about THE Champion at the 140 Pound Weight Class.

I understand what you meant though, as laid out to me above.

    Don't worry, you're safe for now ;)

Cant see Paul beating Madiana, his style is just all wrong for paul and he would stop him imo. Mccloskeys guard is too low and open for Madiana.

Yeah by the average sports fan, not what we and purportedly you are as boxing fans.

It's not about belts, it is about being the number one in your division. That makes you the real world champion.

If Khan beats the bradley-Alexander winner then he can legitimately claim to be the number one!!!

Untill then he holds a portion. And for the record a portion does not need to be half!!!
