Cloud has obviously fought at higher level and his late victory over gonzalez was his breakout fight, his furthest fight at the time as well. Since then he has only had twelve rounders however.

Does cloud have the one punch power of bellew, that is what I have my doubts about.

Cloud is more proven than me right now as are all the other names mentioned, for now it's all potential with me, hopefully I can turn the potential into promise but that is yet to be seen guys ;)

Time will tell that's for sure ;)

The same 42 yr old who just stopped big punching Allan Green?? The same 42 who done a better job on Green than the fantastic Andre Ward?? Or the 42 yr old who is being given a chance against guys not far off half his age?? I'd be happy and honoured to share a ring with Glen Johnson!! I say how I see it however I feel you my friend either have an agenda or just plain don't like me?? To be honest though I couldn't give a toss ;)

You seem to slate me at every chance but eh your entitled to your opinion , my career is not about proving people wrong mate, I'll make adjustments and hopefully I can live up to not just peoples expectations but my own too!! I'm my own worst critic and o haven't performed twice on the run, however I'm facing guys no one else wants to face and I'm dodging no one along the way!! This fight is happening on my say so and fans demand.. Keep enjoying the fights fella. I genuinely mend that too ;)

You really think he did a better job on him than Ward? I thought Ward won just about every round while when Johnson fought him it was relatively competitive until the KO. Don't know why the lad is putting you in with Glen Johnson now, you're still like you said a prospect and saying you'd get KO'ed in 3 is a bit pointless.

What a moron. Check my history, how many times have I mentioned bellew? How long have I even posted in here. He's am english boxer so i'll support him, just like any other english fighter.

Noone is saying bellew is more proven than anyone let alone an ex ring fighter of the year who won consecutive fights with woods, jones and tarver.

He is a prospect who could do with fighting mcintosh to demonstrate his standing domestically, maybe dodson if he wins prizefighter.

The thread is about power. Bellew has got power, that much is clear. As he said, he's a product of his environment and anyone who's been on a night out in liverpool will understand what he means haha.

Lads, the thread ain't about overall boxing ability. It's not about Bellew's defence, his double left-hook or footwork. Or really his last performance.

The competition difference does obscure things though, and make this difficult to judge. Cloud would have beaten most of these guys Bellew has fought by KO too but has struggled for KO's at the top level. The fact they're completely different styles also makes it difficult, because Bellew is more methodical as a puncher whereas Cloud is all out pressure and sometimes guys that are heavy handed and not huge punchers like Pavlik and Vitali can maintain big knockout ratios on volume, and not neccessarily be bigger punchers than other guys with lesser ratios.

I've got nothing against Tony Bellew, but i personally think i would spark him out.

    Thats all.

When i was smashed over New Year, i was hitting 870+ on one of those punch ball machines.

I don't get why people are bringing boxing ability into it, it is a discussion on power.

It's not about whether cloud would have got caught by ovil or not, it's about the power of one punch by either guy, who's is harder?
