You cant ever rule out someone that has beaten someone so devistatingly.

You dont knoiw what effect that has had in the mind of Khan.

He could get back in there and freeze.

I doubt it, but it could happen!!!

Both. It sells the most PPV's and I give him a better chance of winning than McCloskey, Ortiz, Peterson etc.

    Not true,

Sports bars etc are much more likely to show the Khan vs Prescott fight. The advertising would be huge. Loads of people will be telling their mates that Khan is fighting the guy who sparked him, there would be loads of interest from the casual fan!!!

Khan is not going to be able to go in there and blitz him like he did agaisnt Salita or Mallignaggi. He would have to fight even smarter.

Prescott has those massive arms and Khans last fight showed his defence has not improved a great deal. He can still be dragged into a fight.

Anyone with a punch can beat Khan.

exactly to the general sports fan Prescott is still the guy that knocked out Amir Khan in 1 minute.

Paul McCloskey is the guy who paived there driveway last year.

To be honest on a whole most people I no casual boxing/sport fans dont have much like for Khan for what ever reason, now these are the same fans who would be buzzing if they found out he was fighting the guy who knocked him out in less than a minute.

To us hardcore fans we know this is a mismatch with Prescott but Khan is one of the few fighters that corss over to the other casual fans and this would do loads of ppv up and down the country. These same cauals who dont really have a clue about boxing don't give a **** that Prescott has been beat more than once since the last fight all they care about is he was the guy who sparked Khan in less than 60 seconds.

Quoted because it's so ridiculous that I think you might edit it.

First I think you are overstating the interest in this fight. Check out the article on Sky Sports about McCloskey being a possible opponent. Ortiz, Katsidis and other fighters are listed as possible opponents, Prescott hasn't got a mention.

Also I can't believe you are giving Prescott a better shot than the ring #8, #9 and #10. You are the guy who loses his **** whenever a champ fights a guy who is not ranked. But i guess those times the guy didn't have big arms.

   -(

out of line there rob, try not to come across as a twat son

McCloskey could also be the guy who sells 10,000 PPV in Ireland by himself - people here dont really give a **** about Khan

if he does slightly more than that it should be enough to pay his purse

but still, with PRescott you could lose the HBO money and thats nothing to ignore

    its just a wind up..

I reckon the Prescott vs Khan fight sells more than 10,000 PPV's in the UK than any other apart from Katsidis.. At football last night i asked my mates about it and they said they would wanna watch a rematch. Only one of them new who Ortiz was and he likes boxing. None of them new Peterson or McCloskey. They all new Katsidis. None of them mentioned the Mitchell fight even my mate who follows boxing.

I think HBO back the Prescott fight over McCloskey.
