    I've always thought Ismael "The Lilly" Laguna had a nice ring to it. Cant say i understand it though, sure seems like a strange nick name for a boxer

    Anyone remember Vampire Johnson? He had his two front teeth missing and the next two closest (don't know the tech dental term for them) looked like fangs. So, his schtick was coming into the ring in a coffin. Points for originality.

    There was a fighter out of Fort Benning in Georgia (an army post) who fought under the name "Army Mule." He had an alias: "Seldom Heard." He got his mouthpiece knocked far into the crowd in round three before getting counted out against Bearcat Obie (Obie Walker). He seldom won and was never heard from again after this loss.
