Gotta Love Mayorga

I literally don't understand people who don't like Mayorga.

They must have mental problems.

some priceless stuff in there too.

 

Me neither. There's some fighters you cannot dislike.

Mayorga is without question, one of them.

Cotto won the **** talking portion of this fight also.

 

Both of them had very close fights with Mosley (more or less the exact same version, too).

Had Mayorga convincingly won a couple more rounds on a couple of scorecards, and not gotten KTFO at the last second, he could have had a win over SSM too.

 

yes but in the end Cotto clearly won and Mayorga clearly lost. So they weren't that close

Cotto trash talked back at Mayorga and won the battle of the trash talk. Cotto said.

Cotto is usually quiet and never one to trash talk, but the champion had many verbal counters of his own.

"Nobody wins with his mouth. I am a professional and I know what I have to do when I enter the ring. And with these small hands, I beat Shane Mosley. Do you remember Shane Mosley?" Cotto said as he was referring to Mayorga's knockout defeat to Mosley in 2008. "You are a clown. In all your big fights you've failed. I am a four time world champion in three weight divisions."

 

Im surprised at Cottos **** talking i didnt think this was his style.

Mayorga will end up saying something about Cotto's father which I hope he doesn't but he will and Cotto will let it go to his head.

 

Yeah I remember he told Cory Spinks that he will reunite him in with his dead Mother. Then people wonder why some don't like Mayorga. If that STL crew that Cory ran with was so real they would have stomped the dog **** out of Mayaorga for that one.
