:rofl:rofl:rofl Jesus Christ, that made my day. That stuff was gold. Cotto's usually a reserved guy, but he actually responded back at Mayo which I don't remember anyone doing and gave him a taste of his own medicine. I hope the fight's as good as the pre-fight drama though.

Aaaaah man.. Mayorga may be passed it. But i'm getting excited for this one.

Need to see some video of these exchanges.

Can't wait for Miguel to go to work on him.

Come on you can't really compare there fights against Shane. Mosley never ever looked good at 154 and that weird style put him of. Mosley was very good against Cotto and lost a close decision. IMO he was clearly beating Mayorga.

  8. mayorga is a raging lunatic, It was awesome what he did to oscar in the pressconference.
He really destroyed him, of course it was as good for oscar when he finally whooped him.

Cotto is chinny. Mayorga has a chance to hurt him early. It will be interesting.

If that happens I believe Cotto isn't going to resist punching Mayo :rofl , I have just imagined that left hand in Mayo's face !!!

mayorga is so outragous it just makes me laugh, but he has been ****ed up before, and cotto is a much better boxer, who has a tough chin and can really bang to the body.

good fight, mayorga gets rough, cotto moves around and sets his attack of the jab, winning by ko to the body, that sweet left hook again!.

Well, we don't really know Mayorga the person. He plays a villain publicly, same as Mayweather. Each plays a vile persona. We've seen glimpses of the real Mayweather and while he's certainly as flawed as the next human being he doesn't seem to be the absolute scumbag portrayed in his fight-hyping persona. We haven't seen all that much of Mayorga outside of self-promotion.

(The thing with Spinks was over the line, admittedly. Some things are out of bounds when hyping a fight.)

Of course, the one bit of non-hype that does give us some potential insight into Mayorga the person (as opposed to El Matador the persona) isn't terribly flattering...although we don't know exactly how much validity there is to the supposed corruption in his not-guilty **** verdict as reported in that leak a few months back...

Getting back to what you said, I meant as entertainment (both at press conferences and in the ring). :good
