Wlad would be destroyed by Tyson, yet the fight would never happen...

...because of contract negotiations, whereby Tyson would get blamed, and Wlad would take on the winner of the Special Olympics.

Wlad's fanatics would say, Tyson DOESN'T have the amateur pedigree that Klitschko's opponent has. Did he win a gold?

Seriously though, I don't see how anyone in their right mind thinks that this fight would even be competitive.

If you get past Wlad's jab, there isn't anything in his arsenal that would deter Tyson.

He lacks any sort of dexterity to fight going backwards, and when he's been put in this position, he has a tendency to be very clumsy and horribly inaccurate. This is why he opts to clinch rather than throw an uppercut to catch his typically shorter opponent coming in.

When he has thrown uppercuts his accuracy is often terrible, and he won't even commit to throwing any until the late rounds when his opponent is dead tired. Even when he hit Sam Peter with one, it looked like a hail Mary shot, especially when in review he missed almost every single one that he threw. It just happened that Peter was looking at the ground, and throwing less than 10 jabs the entire fight.

In addition, Wlad was even knocked down by Sam Peter the first time who hardly throws short punches, and is about as fast as a slug. Not to mention the time when Sanders knocked him down the second time without even hitting him with a punch.

This would be one of Tyson's easiest fights. He would slaughter Wlad within 1-3 rounds.

People that say Wlad actually has a chance to win this need to produce some evidence of this because there is nothing that he's done in his career that would make me believe even for a moment that Wlad is capable of beating Tyson.

People bring up Lennox, but Lennox not only fought a post prison version of Tyson, but he hit Tyson with devestating uppercuts as early as round 1. Without Lennox's inside fighting ability, Tyson would have knocked him out as well.

Wlad just doesn't have the guts nor the chin and ability to withstand punishment or even the arsenal of punches to deal with Tyson. It would be a massacre.

By the way, who has Wlad fought again? Please enlighten me?

Here is arguably his best opponent, who ironically is called the "white Tyson" despite not resembling Tyson at all. Look at how this idiot stands right in front of the hardest puncher at heavyweight without even trying to close the distance.

Now watch the REAL Tyson close distance and then try to tell me that ANYTHING Chagaev does resembles Tyson.

  2. I completely agree I would take prime mike over wlad anyday of the week, very easy ko in 2 rounds. I do think that wlad has a style that would give some atg problems but eh is tailormade for mike.

IMO Wlad would fold under the intense pressure. Hendo is right that Wlad doesnt fight well against fighters who fight in a style similar to Tyson. Add in the intimidation factor that he used to KO guys before the opening bell in his prime and Ill call it Tyson KO inside 2 rounds.

This has nothing to do with David Haye. It's true that I'm pissed that the fight fell apart because Wlad opted to fight Chisora instead, but that is a completely different style of fight.

Tyson would hit him a lot, hard and early but vitali might be able to take it and come back late on in the fight. Wlad gets knocked out early, he can't handle da pressure imo

Tyson was a beast in his prime, Wlad would have gotten knocked out in 2.

Tyson beating Wlad in a hallucination fight will improve David Haye's boxing resume.
