When Solis was already a grown man, he fought Ibragimov and Haye at 201. But Haye has never weighed in more than 225, Ibragimov never more than 231.

Mature and ripped Solis at 30 should be 235 max i think. He'd be a beast at 235 with all those amateur reflexes in tow.

6'1" Solis should weight less than 220 to be ripped.

    6'3" Frank Bruno 228:

Props for Gamboa Express for a bold prediction.

I´m excited about this fight. Solis has very good skills and would probably win most of other nowadays conterders and would have a decent shot of beating Haye as well.

But against Vitali I see this fight turning very similar to Foreman-Frazier with the shorter guy bobbing and weaving and trying to get inside but getting hammered instead.

Hopefully I wrong and this turns out to be even and hard fight.

They all were grown man, the difference is that they had everything in their countries and Solis saw a supermarket for the first time when he defected.

As long as he has the stamina to keep up a reasonable pace without gassing out, he will b ok, his weight needs to b down from last fight, but muscle consume more oxygen, I'm not concern with his mucles, ain't a Mr. Universe contest.

Tim Witherspoon, Greg Page, Tony Tubbs, Larry Holmes, etc.. they were not muscle ripped, they were fit and in shape.

I just hope Solis is ready to use his feet. He can't control the fight with slow footwork.

No, he isn't and yes, he is.. but hopefully he's in better shape against Antonio Silva in february than he was in last two fights.

Yeah but Solis is stretching it too far. It would be embarrassing for boxing to have guy as fat as Solis as a champion. What's so hard for these whales to eat a bit less? They must know that those burgers and beers might cost huge paydays in a long run. And can only imagine how big they're going to get after the career..

Solis looked awful in the fight with Austin. Vlad stopped Austin using only his left, stopped him in the second round. Solis was getting hit, sucking wind, not real power, inaccurate puncher and Vitali is far superior to Austin! When Vitali lands punches on Solis, Solis will feel it in the worst way.
