Was actually thinking ya meant he just threw himself on the floor without being punched and went through the motions Still on topic, wasnt it McAuley that said he hated sparring/going to the gym, as he used to get wiped out a lot ? He was on a documentary about John Breen i think, also came across clear as day given his career.
Yeah, it was reported in that doc that McAuley had wars in the gym and was knocked down loads of times during sparring
I knew that he was due to fight Robbie Regan (now that would of been a Celtic Classic), but gave it up, as he could not face another battle to get down to eight stone. In some ways a shame, but in another way, at least he did not con his fans and go though with what would of been a decent paying fight, not giving 100%.
