Adamek fans - "Haye ducked Adamek at cruiser" - Please explain

    I am going to money on Haye if this fight comes off. I don't really understand all the hype around Adamek, he's never been exceptional in any weight class and he's even worse at heavy. I'm not saying he's terrible but I do think he gets caught cleanly too often at this weight and he'd pay for that against Haye, who is also faster in my opinion. Same applies to cruiser.

    I'm afraid you're mistaken. I have it on good authority (from an Adamek fan) that Haye is the worst fighter ever to win a belt at anyweight, ever. Also, there are regional level amateur fighters in America who are better than David Haye.

    at the time haye fought two of the top 3 fighters in the cw division. adamek was irrelevant at the point.

    for the same reason haye is allowed to get away w/ juicing
    there isn't a strict testing protocal for boxing.

    I don't think it 'exposed' him. I think it's widely believed that he was weight drained at LHW, and he's done alright since leaving that division.

    Adamek beat O'Neil Bell who barely lost his rematch against Mormeck. Adamek was in the top3 at CW and Haye could have sticked around for one more fight at CW imo.
