I wasn't intending to use hyperbole from the media - purely going by what i remember being discussed at the time.

I understand exactly what you mean about building a bigger legacy at the weight, and I agree with that. That would have been more impressive.

However, the ducking allegations I refer to was meant to be in the context of what he actually did do i.e when he fought and moved division etc, not if he should have stayed at the weight longer. I think yours are valid arguments, but not what I intended to discuss in this thread - I was trying to find out, given when he moved weight etc, he should have fought Adamek as I'd seen this mentioned time and time again.

note - obviously his real motivation for leaving the division when he did would have been doing what he intended to do at heavyweight (whatever that is) before his self-imposed retirement deadline

Cunningham has no fanbase at all. It's a shame, yeah, but it's clear why Enzo was favoured over him as an opponent. One was a huge fight lots of people wanted to see and the other was purely for hardcore fans, and not even that many of them. Even on ESB Cunningham has no real fans.

    It was me :|.

Cunn/Huck and Cunn/Wlod were slick fights to me, but dunno. Perhaps i need to watch it again.

Still, once you told me why you started to be an Adamek hater i no longer can treat you seriously. You are a pure definition of a troll.

Clearly a case of misplaced aggression for the poor UK fans. Haye has been made irrelevant, and more and more people are turning their backs away from this hype job, so desperate Haye huggers need to find another target for their anger, hence the Adamek hate threads. Adamek never says ****, just fights. Gaye should follow this example.

Explain how this is an Adamek hate thread in the slightest.

Go on, I'm waiting to find out.

Still doesnt mean Enzo wasn't a pushover, and he still chose instead of fully unifying against the best competition (Cunningham) he ignored that challenge and jumped up.
