Sources close to the situation have advised ***********.com that Liverpool's light-heavyweight Commonwealth title-holder Tony Bellew, 15-0 (10KOs), has split with current coach Anthony Farnell; 'Bomber' is expected to return to his amateur roots ahead of a make-or-break rematch against Ovill McKenzie, the two meet on February 19 for the British title vacated by Nathan Cleverly.

Shame if it's true. Arnie's a good trainer with a great group of young lads coming through. Both seem like top lads as well. Best of luck to the pair of em.

I think it's good. Tony's still too prone to throwing wild shots with little set-up.

Who's side you gonna take Rob?

There is no chance you'll let this slide by, is there?

"Bellew and Farnell remain on good terms, we understand Bellew wanted to train somewhere closer to home and now will now make his way back to the Rotunda ABC"

That's from the same article posted in the opening post.

Prob fair- travelling up to/living in manchester when he has kids at home must be hard- wouldn't be surprised to see them join up again in the future- both seem like sound guys :good

Is that not why most people watch him? his big problem is avoiding them on the route in,. Hes picked a bad time to move, the pro job is a lot more difficult than the ams, its hard to be a failure in liverpool, as they run, and mostly rob the **** out of every outside amateur boxer, go and watch, what them amateur officials do to a lot of children should be made illegal.:-:)-:)verysad
