He was fighting Barry Morrison. McCloskey should get much more than three times the amount he made against Morrison.

I hate the argument that if it's a fighters biggest payday, that's all that matters. Sure, it's good money considering what he's earned in the past but when a fighter is going for a world title in a huge fight, he deserves a good chunk, even if he isn't a star himself. This is a joke of an offer, clearly.

Not much? Ok, McCloskey should go fight Victor Ortiz, who is #1 ranked in the WBA. Let's see how much he get's paid for that fight.

Really, McCloskey can go fight some bum in his hometown if he doesn't want any of what he's being offered.

Peterson is still being considered. I rather Khan fight him than this guy.

Bet that's not even the 200k that was offered to Peterson and McCloskey brings a bit more to the table than Peterson.

The thing is McCloskey is likely to be fighting for the vacant wbc title within the next year as I understand it, and I would've thought he'd get more of a payday out of that.

Well if it's 3x the amount, it's probably very close.

I doubt it. Probably similiar, if not, less. Depends on who he fights.

****in hell mate i thought i was a staunch Oscar De La Hoya fan when the Golden Boy was still kickin around , my bird even used to call me a stalker , even now i flick my laptop on before work sometimes just so i can watch his ring entrances :D but you mate , you ..................... you probably know more about Amir Khan than most of his family and friends , and i reckon you get information quicker than Khan himself on who his next fights are gonna be

Please give us an insight into the mind of Lazarus ............. what drives you on in your never ending conquest of love and support for Amir Khan .

So that's what, about 200K? Cant see too much wrong with that offer if it's true.
