Douglas was a poor man's Ali and he gave 24 y/o Tyson as severe a beat down as I've seen. Ali would have played with him.

When Frazier beat Ali,it was because Joe showed himself capable of walking through a cross between Dante's Inferno and Beirut,at it's worst. Frazier easily took as much punishment, physically,as Muhammad did. I doubt whether Tyson could have taken as much without crumbling.

I've just watched the Ken Norton vs Muhammadl Ali II fight, in full.

And in my opinion, Ken Norton won that fight.....!!!

I think Mike Tyson would beat that Version of Muhammad Ali

I just watched the fight between Larry Holmes and Ali. I think Tyson would beat that version of Ali.

Tyson WAS faster, but through FAR less punches. He was also mentally VERY weak and therefore would get frustrated and bewildered as in the Bonecrusher fight. Look at all the punches that a peak Foreman hit Ali with, yet he didn't even wobble. Consider also that Shavers hit an old Ali and he didn't come close to knocking him out. Ali could fool you or hold you. I give Tyson very little chance in this fight. No chance at all of a points win.

Tyson didn't fight until the end in the McBride fight!
