It may be about skin color. A lot of people don't like to see the Klitschkos reigning as champions. Haye, if you noticed, has started to box carefully and cautiously - like the Klitschkos - since he became a belt holder. He actually boxed scared vs. Valuev. There is a lot to lose for Haye now. But the Haye lovers won't see that or understand that point. They just want to see him as champion because they do not want to embrace the Klitschkos and never will. Let's face it, there is a huge audience out there who would rather have a black champion to celebrate than a white one. But you heard scant complaints when Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis and Bowe ruled.

I took Jack's "Haye was made possible by the Klitschkos" argument and took it a step further, making the point how Haye simply promised to deliver what the Klitschko's don't and failing to deliver on that promise, miserably so. True people are interested in seeing Haye fight which brings more popularity to the sport and that is good. If he beat both Klitchko brothers and kept defending his title for year to come than I yes he could be called savior of boxing but we all know that won't happen. Haye retires soon so even if he beats Kllitchkos popularity of boxing won't skyrocket since that new superstar everyone wants to see would be gone. Most people outside of Britain want Kltichko to beat loud mouth and not other way around because people find him annoying and there is nothing more fun than watching talker getting his mouth shut.
