Why fans bought into David Haye

20 years from now, boxing fans are gonna look at the resumes of vitali and vlad and there will be nothing on it, especially vlads. vitali's pedigree will always be confirmed because he had a great fight with lewis and then beat sanders who had beat the **** out of his brother, but what do you think are gonna be the stand out names on vlads resume?

vlad needs a defining fight and fighting chisora 1st is just ridiculous, i can't think of another heavyweight champion in modern day history that has defended his title twice in the space of 9 weeks. it basically leaves no recovery time from the previous fight, no time to seriously promote the haye fight, and a big risk of the haye fight being called off through injury or cut.

this is a terrible duck from vlad, he badly needs a defining fight and a name on his resume.

He's absolutely right, if Haye isn't going to fight Vitali or Wlad, he needs to find another ranked opponent..or at the very least step up the activity level.
