This thread is ****. Fighters change trainers all the time,it's not a big deal. Bellew gets more time with his family and Arnie has still got loads of boss fighters.
Colin Jones use to commute about 45 minutes to Merthy Tydfil on a daily basis to train at well respected Eddie Thomas Pro Gym. But Jones - also continued to train at the boxing shed - in Penyrheol and train under the watchful eye of Gareth Bevan - which was his home childhood gym and childhood trainer - even for the big fights against McCory and Curry. So you can do both - mix it up - some days just stay at your home gym and tick over with routine training. And then maybe travel up to the main pro gym for important sparring sessions etc. Likewise............Enzo Maccarinelli - trained at his Dads Gym in Swansea - but still commuted a few days a week for about a hour to Newbridge to train at Camp Calzaghe !!!!!
takes me about 1hr just to get through the blackwall tunnel in the mornings ,45mins is **** all, typical when a fighter looks **** and gets abused by the fans ,first thing he does is ditch the trainner.
its hilarious how all these supposed hard nosed boxing fans look for a soap opera story line in nearly everything that happens in the sport
Livra is a well known **** stirring wanker banned from the boxrec board. Why not make it a double and **** him off from here too
Cant we just love and respect Tony enough to take him on his word ? Come on mate - this thread is a bit bellew the belt . atsch
He'd have a great chance. I'd make Bellew a favorite in that fight because of the type of fighter Murat is. He only ever punches when his opponent is not punching which is predictable and he's easy to keep subdued by maintaining a work-rate. He wasn't keen on coming out to play with Cleverly so I doubt he would get too cute against Bellew either. Bellew would need to concentrate far better though to avoid getting caught with something silly. It could end up a bit of a Macca/Frenkel situation otherwise where he largely dominates and then gets dropped and finished.
