If JMM follows your advice, I think he'll spark the public pressure needed to make the fight happen. I don't see Mayweather being available any time soon, and Pacquiao may not be left with any other opponent to face.

So yeah. I guess we'll just have to see.

the difference is that pac doesnt have to drain himself to make 135.
If this fight happens it should be at 143 catchweight to be fair to marquez.
I really believe pac stops him in 5 rounds, eventhough I think marquez has his number.

Yeah that'll be the main difference. JMM will be facing a Pacquiao who won't be drained any more. But even then, it doesn't really warrant JMM to demand a catchweight fight. He's not in a position to do so. Pac's the one who calls the shots, and it'll be fair to have it contracted at 147.

yeah jmm beating khan or berto would put some pressure on team pac to take the fight next, assuming that floyd won't still show up.

If we want a exciting fight it should actually be at 140. but since pac is #1 and roach stated that he wanted marquez instead of mosley it is very possible that this fight is next at 147. And marquez earned it more than anyone. I just hope it doesnt take away the awesomeness of the first two fights.
I think its either him or berto next at 147 by the way.

Trust me, no matter what the detractors try to tell you, having the fight at 140 or 147 will make very little difference. Both guys are non-welterweights by nature. Quite simply, it'll be a fight they won't need to make weight. They're just going to train to be in their best fighting shape, and their best fighting shape will naturally see them come down a few pounds below the 147 mark for the weigh in, and back up to 148 (Pac) and 144 (JMM) for the fight night.

My logic is this, if drained pacquiao is able to drop marquez and make this a close fight then 147 pacquiao finishes the job. I would love to see pac in a war like that again I just dont think marquez will be able to pull it off.
I guess we have to wait when/if it happens.

Hell no, he is not a WW period. Why do posters keep bringing this up as far as JMM fighting over 140? He would get peppered to death. Stay at 135 or maybe 140 or just retire all together.

JJM is a ATG, but Berto has to many physical advantages. Berto by last stoppage.

Typical fight for berto against a smaller man.

Im unsure, Berto is a strange case. He keeps getting better and better but he doesnt have that great fighter to put it all together against

JMM would be that ATG opponent that he could make a big splash against

Berto is an odd story a holder for 3 or 4 years been on HBO for like 4 or 5 but is still seen as a green prospect not quite ready

also he has been on HBO for years but isnt marketable
