I don't think they do enough in the interest of the sport of boxing, the brothers that is, but Haye is several times worse than even they are...Ruiz, Toney and Tua are shot to pieces, Povetkin, Valuev, Haye, clearly don't want the fights. The division needs fresh blood, somebody who is willing to fight everybody and promote the sport, it isn't Wlad or Vitali, perhaps it could have been Vitali but injury's derailed him, in any event it certainly isn't Haye either.

Don't get me wrong. A lot of Brits are more worldly than that. They see the bigger picture and are mentally well above all the crap.

But you know the crappy journalism you get in Britain? I'm not talking about the serious, world class journalism, I'm talking about the Sun etc.
A lot of fans are of the exact same quality as that journalism.

I agree. But..the so called highbrow press regarding boxing (especially Haye/k2) will take liberties with the truth and are biased.

    It's shameful.

Yes. It is unbelievable, but some of Haye's Gays are actually still trying to say that he is better for the sport than the Klitschkos.

A conman, exploiting a situation of disappointment for several years to milk millions out of gullible fans, only to leave everyone more disappointed. How the **** is that good for boxing?

A liar and a fraud, making promises with no intention of ever delivering. How the **** is that good for boxing?

Building up hope in a cynical fanbase, only to repeatedly **** on it and crush that hope, leaving the fanbase even more cynical and disenchanted than ever before.

How the **** is that good for boxing?

Chagaev beat Valuev and Ruiz, Peter did away with Toney, Povetkin had a mandatory shot for 2 years and refused to fight, Byrd beat Tua. If anything Wlad fought better level of opposition than you are suggesting.

Except polls on the actual British fans are about 50/50. Look at the British forum for proof of that. Most British fans have blamed Haye in the past and blame both fighters now.

This idea that British fans are completely biased is a cop out. It's an easy way to ignore accurate, relevant posts. In the past few weeks on ESB, every serious debate between Klitschko and Haye fans has been incredibly one-sided in favour of Haye fans because, honestly, there's not much to defend Wlad with, which is why so many fans draw reference to 2009 and ignore the issues at hand now.

When I mentioned those fighters, I don't mean now. I meant when they were actually relevant. They were all big fights at one time and the Klitschko's should have done more to make them happen but they didn't.

Shameful because you disagree. That's the sole reason you think it's shameful - Simply because it doesn't coincide with your stance. If The Times had an article bashing Haye, praising the Klitschko's etc., you'd consider that good journalism.

What is shameful, however, is the fact you discount any pro-Haye article because you prefer the Klitschko's. You are the definition of bias.

The thing is, you could most of those negative things to describe people who have made boxing the sport it is. Tyson, King, Mayweather, Arum and even people like Ray Leonard, have all had the same negative terms used against them.

And if you want to talk about shitting on your fanbase and lying, what do you think about Wlad saying he'd fight "anywhere" then rejecting America and Britain? What do you think about K2 offering Tua the same amount of money as he made against Shane ****ing Cameron? What about Wlad milking his fanbase, who will buy his bout against Chisora, when he could have pushed that fight back and not given Haye the chance to pull out?

I could go on and on but don't act like the Klitschko's are choir boys. They are ****ing over the German fans with bull**** mandatory fights like against Chisora, Sosnowski, Johnson and so on.

I mean Valuev and Ruiz before Chagaev, Toney way before the Peter loss, Povetkin could have been offered more to make the fight happen, Tua should have been offered more. What about guys like Maskaev? Or Rahman, before he was ancient?

Some of these fights, people can give excuses for. The fact is though, they should have happened.

Like I said, I guarantee that if the Klitschko's carry on ruling, their fans will continue to be treated poorly. I bet you they will continue offering bad deals and fighters will very rarely get a fair cut. Feel free to save this post and look back in a couple of years and I bet both of their records have gaping holes in them.
