Chavez vs Martinez (put him on the map)
Chavez vs Rosario (his career defining performance that would make him legendary)
Chavez vs Taylor (his ultimate victory which would get him to the very top of the boxing world)

No such thing as "lucky punches".

I agree that Past-Prime, (but still top of division material) Frazier was Foreman's greatest defining win, however the Moorer knockout was not a "lucky punch". Watch the 10th round again, Foreman carefully setup that punch.

    Agreed.

Famechon, I'd probably say Harada II, goes over to Japan after struggling with Harada mightily and stops him. Although Harada was on a sharp decline, Fammo still deserves credit IMO.

I actually recently got a letter from Famechon,

How well Fammo worked behind his jab in the 2nd Harada fight, was very enjoyable viewing for me, from memory it was an area he improved a fair bit from their first encounter, and quite a defining tool in their 2nd.

Must say im actually a little envious of this letter you recieved. What did he say?

I came across an interesting little interview with Harada a few months back, if i come across it again i'll flick it your way.

Just said his manager played a huge part in his development and he loved being a world champion. Real classy down to earth guy.

Buster Douglas: Holyfield -- his career in a nutshell, even after he catches lightning in a bottle vs. Tyson he blows it right away by showing his lazy, head-case side.

Marvin Hagler: Hearns -- as good as Marvelous Marvin was, this one fight put him in the upper echelon of fighters of his day in the eye of the public

Ken Norton: Ali -- Norton's style was perfect for the Greatest, and it turned him into a household name and top tier heavyweight of his era

    Salvador Sanchez -- Wilfredo Gomez
