Truth is, Lewis turned down his biggest payday to rematch Vitali....and Haye threw away 3 shots at his biggest payday to face a Klitschko. Some warriors!

 

Not a lot of truth there at all. There's no evidence at all that Lewis turned down his 'biggest' ever pay day. Vitali was a nobody at the time (not forgetting he brings $0 ppv from his own fans), and Lewis wasn't paid peanuts against Bruno, Holyfield and Tyson, amongst others. You just need to accept Lewis had done enough in his career to have the choice whether he should face someone as dangerous as Vitali again at his age. How many examples of punch-drunk boxers that went on too long do I have to give before you get it? I'll readily admit that Vitali may have retired him at the age of 38, but Lewis' record afforded him the chance to go out on top. Why should he have to go through one more fight to appease a few thousand nuthuggers when his legacy and bank balance was already secured?

As for Haye 'throwing away' his three shots at big paydays, his paymasters went bust (which isn't much of a payday really), he got an 'easier' shot at a title, and then Wlad ducked him to fight a nobody. The blame for him not fighting Vitali the first time rests with Haye. The other two were down to bad luck and Wlad risking his titles against Chisora.

And for the record, every Haye fan knows the Harrison fight was a mismatch, but casual fans were interested and it made good business. Haye hasn't got a long record of beating nobodies for millions of dollars so he has to make his money somewhere. No-one wants to see Wlad-Chisora though. Even Dereck's own mother is saying 'Wlad is fighting WHO?'.

 

Umm both networks was not available jack. According to Klits manager, he said Vitali won't fight Haye in may cause both networks can't get agreement for may and june. Yea sky sports likely was available but not rtl germany tv network. Only "both" available for july fight.

 

Wladimir Klitschko is not ducking Haye. David Haye is not ducking Wlad. The reason is they got 'too' much money in the bank already! To us they are throwing away their biggest payday - to them its just another payday gone today but payday back tomorrow. A real 'Easy Come-Easy Go' mindset huh?
