Ouch. Yeah ok, Bute will end up getting stripped. No way he fights Mendy by April 31st.

On a Top Rank Live they have Francisco Sierra-Dyah Davis in a few weeks so if Sierra wins I would guess that he would be an ideal opponent for Kelly.

The guy needs to start from scratch after all he has been through and he will need momentum and confidence if he is going to challenge the likes of Ward, Bute, Froch etc. I would say that he should have 2 fights against decent hungry fringe contenders over a 3 month period and then he can look to take on an elite 168lb fighter in the Summer.

Honestly, I'd like to see him fight Martinez again.

By the same 9 months rule Stieglitz should be stripped in January 2011, Because his last mandayory was Eduard Gutknecht in April 2010.

I think Maravilla's last two conquests should tangle. I would still love to see Pavlik/Williams in a fight for honorable mention...literally.

I pretty much agree. One guy off the "C-List." Then an Andrade, Bika level fighter. Then a top guy next fall or early winter.

Interbox has the rights on Andrade for his fights in Canada. And Interbox just signed a deal with Top Rank to have Interbox fighters on Top Rank cards, which means both promoters have a good relation.

That being said, I don't think Pavlik will fight Andrade in his comeback fight. I'd like him to fight Stieglitz. Pavlik would beat him and get a belt out of Germany in the process. Unfortunately, Stieglitz would never agree to fight Pavlik, even in the current situation...

Paul Williams probably. But he needs 3 or so tuneups and gradually get back to the top level.

What's his WBO ranking ? (SMW)
It's all about money , I'm thinking WBO will make more money with Pavlik as Champ then they make with Stieglitz, why wouldn't they push for Pavlik to be the next mandatory, and why would Pavlik take on some1 like Andrade or Bika who are better and don't have a belt.

Brinkley is a very good call. He has to start from scratch after his loss against Bute and could be interested in the recognition and money that a Pavlik fight could give him. It would be also a good call for Pavlik. Brinkley is good, tough, smart, but doesn't excel in any department.

I think Pavlik would have to make himself the mandatory in order to get a fight with Stieglitz, and the WBO still has Pavlik ranked at 160, not 168.

It'sa good idea to go after Stieglitz, but it would take a couple fights to get into the mandatory spot.
