I'm not really sure what the answer to this question is. He seems to have a good few options available to him. What would you like to see him do next?

I'd like to see him in a ten rounder soon, like March time..... against a fighter in the 10-20 bracket, either at 122 or 126.

Then look for another title opportunity, he's definitely capable of winning a strap, but ran into the #1 champion on a good night.... and was still competitive in most of the rounds, despite losing ten of them.

No point going back to domestic/European level - he's dominated Martinez twice and beaten Maludrottu..... none of the others are on that level right now.

fight Steve Molitor in the UK . Based on Molitors showing last time out i think Rendall wins comfortably and becomes world champion .

I'm pretty sure Molitor said he doesn't want to fight in the UK for the foreseeable future.

I'm with you tho, Rendall beats him. But I'm not sure it would be comfortable.

Molitor is with Top Rank now so I seriously doubt that they would agree to him coming to the UK when they have so many fighters in and around that weight division to match him with. Anyway he is going to South Africa next and I think he might well lose.

Rendall is in a hard place in that he is a tough sob, he is unknown in the US and isn't a big money fighter here. When you take that into consideration you have to say that he will struggle to get in the ring with another champion, which is a shame.

^With that in mind he should make himself mandatory for one of the other straps.

He should build a time machine and go back 2 years and fight Bernard Dunne, just so we can all argue like the good old days......

    I miss those times.....

He is still highly ranked by a few of the Organizations so I would agree with that. Could Frank Maloney stump up the cash for an overseas fighter to come over, I'm not sure.

He should have a tune up against someone like Pickering and fight the winner of Booth/Arthur. That would definitely be one of the better domestic fights that can be made.

nah - Scot quigg as a massive undercard on PPV, or, for the EBU title when Quigg becomes Mandatory. Casey will be another option. If Munroe is lucky Lee might offer him a shot.

I'm thinking a tune up fight and then chase the winner of Casey-Rigo.
