If Mccloskeys team think Maidana earned 1 million against Khan that says it all really. Amir Khan did not even earn 1 million. I have spoken to Asif Vali and he said that the offer is more than 150,000 but Mccloskeys team want 300,000!

    Get a grip.

He's beat everyone put infront of him, same cant be said of Khan.

Who did Khan beat before he got his world title shot? A litany of washed up super featherweights, thats who.

The last paragraph of the article linked in the original post, highlights a potential fast track for McCloskey into a world title shot.

McCloskey doesnt need Khan, it would be a great fight for him but he doesnt need him. If the Khan's think they can undertake the financial equivlant of anally violate on every boxer they want to fight then crack on but I find it embarrassing and disgraceful.

SLapbangwallop do you really think Mccloskey is entitled to 300,000? he has rejected an offer of over 150,000 and called that insulting. He is delusional. He will never earn that money in his career even if he does fight for a world title.

So he is "****" and a "*****" for wanting less than 10% of the receipts of the fight?

"Nothing against Irish people, but you are the most deluded fans in the world." How exactly?

"If Mccloskeys team think Maidana earned 1 million against Khan that says it all really. Amir Khan did not even earn 1 million."

Actually Khan did earn a million and its was McCloskeys trainer that thought Maidana earned a million - its not his trainer doing the negotiations is it.

You are a bit of a joke really arent you.

How many things are you going to get wrong on one thread before you stop slabbering?

Olusegun-Chebah are fighting a WBC eliminator this month. If the WBC is vacated, which isnt unlikely and Olusegun wins then McCloskey-Olusegun for the WBC title would be more than a good bet.

Wasnt he paid in dollars? I was well over a million and in the order of £1m when broken back at Decembers exchange rate, and that is assuming the he gets 0 from sponsorship and merchandising.

So you are going to ignore the rest of the issues in the post and argue that his purse was 3% under a million pound! Is that your grand statement?

All I am saying is that Mccloskey should accept the offer of over 150,000 or they compromise and meet in the middle 200,000
