This fight has huge implications for the LHW division. Along with Phil Davis, these two are seen as the most promising prospects in the division, and I'm actually surprised that they will be fighting each other, despite it making perfect sense.

Bader really hasn't impressed me thus far in his career. He has solid wrestling, and powerful hands, but he has looked very beatable. Jon Jones, on the other hand, has looked virtually unstoppable. The only question is whether or not Jones will be able to implement his usual gameplan against a wrestler of Bader's caliber. And I believe that it will surprise a lot of people when he does.

We haven't really seen Jones eat a big shot yet, aside of the illegal Vera upkick and a few shots from Bonnar, so his chin/recovery is something of a question mark. However, I don't believe that Bader has the necessary skills to exploit Jones' unorthodox style. Nor does he have the Jiu-Jitsu to exploit the holes in Jones' top game, if Jones is able to take it to the ground.

Bader's best bet is too probably act first, and try to get Jones on his back; a place where we haven't really seen him yet. If he able to do that, Jones may be in trouble, and we have yet to see him face adversity. Who knows, maybe he has a mind like Vitor Belfort, and will crumble when things stop going his way.

All that said, I think Jones will be walking away with another impressive first round TKO. And there will still be doubters of his talent.

You highlight 2 of the few unknowns in Jones game - chin and fighting off his back - cant see Bader being good enough to put these to the test. Another devastating KO win for Jones, and hopefully a long overdue main event opponent

This is such a great fight. Jones although I dont believe hes beat as good as oppostion as Bader has but everything he does seems to be more smooth and have better technique. Bader with usually try to just run through guys with his double legs while Jones has beautiful throws and sweeps and once the fight hits the floor his ground game is very impressive. Can he get Bader down though ? This is a very strong, decorated collegiate wrestler himself and it wont be easy. Make no mistake Jon Jones aint fought anyone like Ryan Bader. Also the X-Factor here may be Bader's punching power. Jones hasnt displayed anything on his feet but a couple of spinning kicks while Bader wings alot of shots he has displayed chin breaking power especially in his right hand. This is a tremendous fight and I cant wait. Ill take Jones 3rd round TKO (GNP) I think what will do Bader in is that he gives 100 percent to everything he does and he has a tendency to wear himself down.

Jon jones better keep this fight standing or he'll have a long night. I still like jones in this fight. I think he is the more complete fighter of the two. It should be a good fight.

I see Jones by complete one sided destruction. Bader is very good but I really think Jones is special. His throw against Hammil was DAMN impressive, in fact, in every single fight I have seen him in he has been dishing out spectacular one-sided beatdowns.

Bader is good and can easily be a top 10 fighter at LHW. Jones is a future champion.

I also thought Nog beat Bader. Bader had something like a 5% takedown success rate in that fight and got outboxed on the feet, even if Nog didn't do any real damage.

Bader is strong and powerful but not as refined as I would like. Jones is athletic as hell.

Jones doesn't have a striking defence. He is very athletic but catching shots, slipping shots while staying in position is not what he does. Plus we haven't seen him off his back. So as good as he is offensively, we haven't seen enough of his striking defence and grappling defence off his back. I can't remember who it was but he was striking with someone and he had no defence. I think he was putting his hands out and pushing the guy away.

Bader puts too much into what he does because he isn't as technical as he could be. He slowed vs Nog but won because of points.

Great fight, who can execute and capitalise on his opponents flaws. Jones may be a bit too big headed now though. He thinks he is going to destroy another wrestler.

The big question in this fight , can Ryan Bader take Jon Jones down ????

If he can , its gonna be close , the other big question can Ryan Bader stand with Jon Jones ???? , in many people's eyes he cant !!!!

Jones is the clear favourite going into this fight , and we all know what he's bringing , un orthadox , fast , powerfull , unpredictable striking mixed with a good solid wrestling game , athletesism , power the kids got it all , Bader on the other hand is a wrestler with decent stand up , primarily boxing , on paper its a mis match .

But .......................... If Bader comes out and secures 2 - 3 TD's and puts Jones on his back for most of round 1 !!! it will be massive , and lets face it , he's got tha capabilities to do it .

I see Jones TKO'ing Bader late in the 1st in a back and forth striking / wrestling exchange and ultimatley i see Jones's speed and athletic capability being to much for Bader .

As a fan , i want to see a competetive 3 rounder , so im hoping Bader survives the onslought and secures a few TD's and stops Jones in his tracks a little .
