Yes i dont remember the fight that well but im pretty sure it was hard to make a case for Witter winning especially with the knockdown. If i remember Witter did look rather ordinary that night i dont know whether that was down to Bradley or if Witter was just poor.

    Nobody knew who Bradley was.

The general consensus 'An american prospect that they haven't hyped up beyond belief? He can't be any good then, otherwise they'd be saying he's the new Mayweather'

So everybody expected Witter to win.

I remember Bradley stating that the Witter camp were trying to **** around with the scales in order to drain him.

    is this true?

he also stated that he had brought over his own scales and knew he was bang on with his weight. Stated that the Witter camp tried to drain him of an extra 3lbs.

Surely if the Witter camp tried to mess around with the official scales they would have faced a lengthy ban?!

Everyone thought Witter would spark an untested yank away from home. Bradley had done nothing to suggest he could win the fight.

I actually prefer the poster who hates on Bellew in every thread more than this guy.

I remember the BN mentioning in preview (i think?) that he comes in with the head and held the WBC youth title. I couldn't foresee the performance he put on...considering more known and experienced world class campaigners had struggled to get past the style and awkwardness of Witter. Yet him and Diaz devised a brilliant plan and he showed maturity in the later stages. He could of easily got reckless and anxious but he stuck at the gameplan and won the fight well.

Jesus if that is true then that is unbelievable. If it is then I'm glad he did a job on him.

i aint gonna lie to you. bradley comes over a completely untested religious fanatic with a 50% kayo rating, vs a prime in shape witter ----> i though witter was gonna cane him, get no credit and continue to call out hatton.
