If that's true, WBA is a joke then.

Shite fight. I said the same about when Wlad was looking at him as a possible opponent aswell. Nothing has changed.

Mormeck was one of the opponents I expected to be on his hit list, so can't say I'm surprised.

Mormeck has the worst stamina I have ever seen. He is a 4 or 5 round fighter.

Could Mormeck get the fight ahead of Rahman? (who's ranked higher by the WBA) Considering this isn't a voluntary defence...

I remember when people could not believe Haye will be fighting Harrison i guess we will have to watch "rematch of the decade" now.

Can't say I'm surprised. He'll beat Mormeck, rematch Audley and retire telling the world that the Klitschkos ducked him. He will subsequently go down in history as the heavyweight champion with, by far and away, the WORST reign EVER.

It is weird if you have a contract, look at floyd-judah, rendered meaningless by baldomir. What would have been even weirder would be if judah chose just to fight baldomir instead of floyd!

decent tune up while Wlad fights chisora, a pretty safe fight I think does little for legacy but will line his pockets

    I don't buy it.

Mormeck is 8th in the WBA rankings, no chance he gets chosen over Povetkin, Boytsov, Dimitrenko etc.
