It was a terrible defensive performance by Khan. He allowed himself to get caught several times and allowed Maidana to get inside too easily.
His defence has always been ropey to be honest, its basically distance keeping offense, just bunches of fast jabs normally, I thought it was better (his footwork...apart from when he got caught against the ropes several times) than it was against Malignaggi etc he didnt get into much trouble before round 6 and he held it together better than I thought he could, in round 10. His face was battered up by Malignaggi, who in my opinion, hit him more cleanly and more often, than Maidana. Dont get me wrong I think his defence is still sorta shite, but better than it was.
Kotelnik was his best defensive performance... also boring as **** to watch so we cant have it all i suppose
According to the Manchester Evening News Khan vs Murray is ready to be signed.... http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...d_murray_set_to_clash_in_battle_of_manchester
The MEN Talks a load of rubbish. The title in that was very misleading. Murray's name was put forward. No negotiations have happened. It won't be Murray. It'll be McCloskey or Peterson.
if some1 can time khan or put him on the back foot he's ****ed. he aint gota a counter punch him omo, hes got a very long way to go, until hes anywhere near challenging the likes of the mayweather or pacquiao's of today
I hope to god its not Mccloskey, appalling match up, which is precisely why Khan wants it as against Mccloskey he'll look amazing, the guy will be a punching bag for however long it lasts
I'm starting to think that this could be a a done deal and that all the negotiations and interviews are deliberate hype... If they're looking to get the publics and medias interest they're definatley succeeding...
Is it being talked about a lot in Ireland? :think And no, it's not signed yet, but it's probably extremely close to being done. Expect to hear something any time soon now.
