lol, id like to see it but berto just doesnt excite, his fights are never great fights. he just seems a bit artificial, HBO manufactured. im not denying his talents, its like watching mayweather but 5% worse in all respects. it just isnt exciting to watch and he hasnt got any BIG wins to win the fans over. nobody wants to pay for berto on ppv apart from a very small hardcore group of berto fans.

how many tickets and ppv's would berto vs clottey have done compared to pac vs clottey? 15k vs 50k for tickets, 250k vs 1m for pv's? (just a guess)

so what are the after-effects of this? does HBO throw a ton of money at Floyd to get at least one big fight? does Greenburg or Davis get fired or "change departments" for losing one of their two drawing cards?

if haymon and the wbc keep fixing this fraud's career he could get to 150-0.

but everyone knows berto still a fraud who would be lucky to draw 2,500 in his hometown skating rink.

stuck with fraud mayweather and berto as their attractions, hbo might be out of the boxing business in 2-3 years. there is no money to be made with fraud mayweather unles he fights Pac.

Greenburg and Davis will be out within 2-5 years.

In U.S. boxing he is one of the two draws at the moment. But Mayweather has to be willing to fight and fight somewhat often, neither of which appears to be the case at the moment.

Mayweather is draw and Berto is a future star. HBO platforms themselves as Boxing's premier network. Losing Pacquaio is a blow but HBO has lost some star power before and remained in business. They lost Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Julio Cesar Chavez in the 90s but they survived.

Mayweather has proven that he can make alot of money for himself and HBO even without fighting Pac.

    It's a great article though.

The dynamic of the 2 headed rule dominated by HBO for boxing is slowly declining.

I think the fact that no one from HBO attended Arum's son's memorial or Arturo Gatti's funeral speaks volumes of their character.

berto is the dark horse of his division.high risk low reward type of fighter, i dont think manny would risk fighting him.i hope mayweather does at least.berto is the best 147 pounder i think.

No berto will sell less than 1000 live tickets against clottey. forget about ppv. nobody will buy.
