He really didn't have too much. In the 60's he became a bit of a womanizer. He had a decent sized temper and was not unfamiliar with being in street fights.

He was also very, very cheap. He used to invite people out to eat and make them pay. He hid his money all over in places he lived and went. His family has yet to find all of it.

Marciano was really very generous with his family. He just felt because of his celebrity a lot of people liked to use his name and he understood this. It was Marciano and Frank Sinatra that made sure their boyhood hero Joe Louis received this benefit from the people in Las Vegas

I understand and know of the good Marciano did aswell. He also reportedly never refused an autograph. Rocky was obviously a very good man, because there are few, if any people who met him and walked away not liking him.

Skehan's biography of Marciano appears to have been well balanced concerning Rocky's positive attributes and character flaws. That he had a darker side wouldn't come as any kind of surprise to those who read it. (He fractured the jaw of a man who owed him money and failed to pay up by whacking him with a left. The man had a temper, and was not somebody to be pissed off.)

the darker side of rocky marciano ?

I know he died a long time ago, but I've heard he comes alive in the dreams of teenagers and haunts them, torments them, drives them to insanity and frightens them to death.

His face and body is all scarred up, twisted and burned from the airplane crash, and he has a propeller for a hand.

the worst i heard about him was that he tight with his money.
the other negative thing was his toupee.
neither are hanging offences, leave him alone

Marciano would be one of my first picks to have someone by my side in a street fight. The man was relentless in the ring when he was just doing business. Can you imagine how he is when he is in a rage?
