Yes, they are insane for fighting him.

But if the German commission are willing to let him fight that's their look out, the same can be said of their opponent.

Given that the vaccination is given in several doses and takes months to work, I'd imagine the chances of him fighting Haye this year are pretty slim.

Additionally his recent form doesn't exactly suggest he can be competitive, does it?

Banged up and stopped by Wlad.
Almost beaten by journeyman Travis Walker.

It's a mismatch, not as bad as the Harrison mismatch but still, not a fight I want to see.

Chagaev looked about done in his last fight, so it's not like Haye is avoiding a great fighter. Haye needs to fight someone good though, like Povetkin next.

even if Haye was to take the vaccine there is no assurances that will help protect him.

my sister had to leave her job as a dentist after going through all the Hep B injections only to find out that her body failed to respond to it.

the GF is really going to the dogs with these silly wee kids making up bull**** threads.

According to medical doctors there is no chance of contracting Hep B by fighting Chagaev. Unless anyone here has real reason to dispute this then I don't see why there is a discussion. If Chagaev isn't allowed to fight then something dodgy is going on or the BBBC needs to update its rules and procedures

Also, a few weak performances doesn't automatically indicate that he is at death's door

Yes, it takes that long. But Haye should have already had that to be licened to box in Britain, so that shouldn't be a problem than should it?

From all the Haye pullouts and reasons not to fight a good opponent, this is the least disgraceful one imo. Chagaev is past it, but it wouldn't be a mismatch. I rather see him box Povetkin or (injured) Boytsov (if not a K brother), but we all know what's going to happen if the Chagaev fight doesn't come of.
Haye will fight another 38+, totally past it hasbeen or nobody.
Then I rather see him mix it up with Chag.

So he should get vaccinated to fight someone with an illness that is NOT contagious?

The bottom line is haye takes a injection and fights Chageav end of. With 100% cover which BCC will approve.
Haye wants to duck = no to vaccine no to the fight anywhere not just Germany.

Would you want to face an iron chinned, come forward lefty fighter?
Err if I was haye definitely no. Heye could hardly finish fraggomeni, ffs...

according to medical experts then yes!!

but then again we have medical experts in the UK and Finland who refused to sanction Chagaev.

    As did the Americans.
