100%. He has no credibility now. Booth is a complete clown too.

David used to post here. He's admitted his narcissism numerous times regarding his love for trawling boxing websites looking for information on himself. I hope to hell he's reading this and realises how much of a joke the British boxing public see's him as. A few years ago he was talking about meeting either Klitschko. Now he's talking about another Mormeck bout in his supposed retirement year? Just retire Dave. Boxing doesn't need you.

People underestimate how many people view these pages, it's definitely worth putting a message out there if you would like to say those things to the relevant party rather then just *****. I did it with the Burns-Laryea fight and I would like to think that it has been read by the relevant people even if it doesn't make a difference in hell.

Dont get it twisted. Why would i expect David to give a **** about a boxing anorak like me? Its a MESSAGE BOARD after all. And as a fan who supported him LONG before he turned pro and who has tuned into every one of hid fights. Including the farce that was Audley Haye, i have every ****ing right to criticise the joke that his career has become.

I agree and I hope he realises that he has lost his integrity, which I have always believed to be something that you cannot put a price on.

I supported Haye EVERY step of the way when he turned pro. I was down at York Hall to see his debut vs quality British journeyman Tony Booth. And i still supported him after he lost to the "Cat".
Haye was hungry when he was on his way up. He used to engage his fans on these boards. Now he's a prima-donna. For two years he's talked up the Klitschko bout and assumed that the brothers would bow to his demands because they apparently "needed" him.
Both he and Booth look like a right pair of c*nts now that neither fight has materialised. And in two years of chasing they gave us Audley and are now mooting a fight with Don King's dreg's in Mormeck. And this is supposed to be his retirement year? This isnt just a joke. Its a dead liberty.

Yeah, he probably doesn't get enough credit for his early career.

A peak Tony Booth would probably give Audley a decent argument, as sad as that sounds.

Every bad match up I say I wont buy, but if this is the headline fight I will definetly make a stand this time. What a complete farce of a fight! I could name 10 more credible opponents, his heavweight career go's from bad to worse- he should be ashamed of himself. To think people laughed at Frank Bruno as well!

Yeah, I remember when he used to post here.
He even gave a shout out to "the eastside boys" after one of his fights on BBC.

Look, Mormeck's a step up from Harrison.

Haye's okay. He's making his money. Hey, he's not expecting us to believe his bull****. The average tabloid reader and "casual fan" are his bread-and-butter.

The fact they're even considering it as an option makes this a travesty. There's an old saying. You can fool some of the people some of the time. But not all of the time. He's had a pass with Barrett and now Audley. The lata being beyond a farce. And now this? Let me guess on PPV too right?

If this fight happens, it is so crap I don't know what to say. If this is the sort of thing he's going to be getting up to, then it'll be no loss when he retires.
