I won't call him a coward and I won't call him con artist. But I am very disappointed by his antics. I don't think the recent collapse with the wlad fight was his fault, but I'm still gutted.

He has lost a fan in me for life. But I doubt he gives a **** tbh.

 

Mormeck is a massive step up from Audley Harrison, so how can anyone here really be outraged or surprised by this ?
Half this forum actually got caught up in the Audley fight hype and went and bought it !

I'm sure Steve Bunce can sell it to most of you.

Did anyone really expect anything better from Haye ?
I think him fighting Harrison should have left no doubts whatsoever as to the depths he'd stoop. And it's actually unfair to Mormeck to even mention him alongside Audley. If anything, Mormeck's a tougher and more credible opponent than several others I thought Haye might fight next.

It's been about a year since I lost all remaining hope or any inkling of belief in Haye. It was quite obvious he was a complete joke when the motor-mouth suddenly went AWOL and silent as a monk while Wladimir Klitschko was calling him out. That was the last straw. The Audley thing was amusing but disgraceful, but a masterful demonstration of how to exploit the gullibility of the masses.

I actually admire Haye for his business acumen. He's not going to end up punch drunk or beaten up, and he's going to make a hell of a lot of money for easy fights. He's living a dream. No, it's not about legacy - he'll never hold a candle to Frank Bruno as a fighter, never mind Lennox Lewis.
He knows his limitations too. Why waste his time trying to be a great fighter ? He's an affable good-looking young guy with a wife and kid who can make big money being a celebrity and "third division champion", boxing the occasional "exhibition" against a has-been and looking at other ventures that suit him better. It's all about the money and an easier life. It's the same rules for all of us.
There are still enough real fighters out there for us boxing fans. Let Haye do his thing, it makes sense for him to do it.

 

I have lost all faith ion Haye now, i now know he is not making any effort to sort a deal with Klit bros and for that he losses my respect as a fan for him (not that he will give a ****) but im sure im not the only person. Step up and fight a KLIT or **** off. he deserves to be stripped of the title tbh

Its true mate i stood by him and was pretty sure he would fight atleast 1 of the Klit bros, but he has ****ed it all up. i had faith in him and thought he would prove everyone wrong but now hes a complete joke. i know people keep telling me "he speaking **** Gaz" blah blah blah. and im sorry to say it but they were right.

Haye has lost all respect from me, unless he steps it up and gets it on with either Klit bro. What a ****! i cant back him no more if they going to pull stunts like this. its a joke, need to find another decent boxer to follow now atsch

I just need to ask – has this been reported seriously with a quote from Mormeck’s people confirming an offer’s been made?

That wouldn’t excuse another completely ******ed fight, but I’d like to see a bit more evidence than a throwaway comment at a press conference and Scurla’s rantings.

 

David doesn't like to read the truth hence the reason I was banned from posting on his youtube videos.

 

I wouldn’t rely on ESB as my sole source. I can’t find anything other than the one comment Booth made at a press conference when he was pressed on the topic. That doesn’t diminish your other point that this is a ridiculous fight to even discuss.
