No such thing as luck... the guys set out to punch Wlad and Lewis repectively in the head and did so. Lewis got caught by a good punch and beat the count when he was green against McCall and against Rahman he only trained for 2 weeks, career highest weight and didn't adjust to the 5000ft altitude. He was breathing out of his mouth by round 3 and your jaw doesn't take a punch so well when your mouth is open. Wlad says he underrated Sanders (which is the same as Lewis did with Rahman) so would have liked to have seen a prepared Wlad rematch Sanders rather than big bro dealing with it. Brewster and Purrity showed Wlad that Wlad doesn't have a great chin, nor is he a fighter which actually helped Wlad because he has now adjusted a style to suit his strengths and negate his weaknesses.... only problem is his weaknesses will soon be found if he fights someone who can move there feet
Be fair and talk about prime 2010 Wlad please. I cannot see Wlad from the Chambers or Peter II fight losing to old Tyson, prime Mercer, faded Holyfield (Wladimir is a disasterous match up for Holy), Golota, McCall, Tua and the likes. Being better than Wlad in inside fighting doesn't mean Wlad gives you the opportunity to fight him inside. In fact, he wont. Ever. Lewis is probably the better of the two but prime Wlad would most likely beat anyone on Lewis' resume. Lewis'd do the same on Wlad's resume tbf and probably with relative ease. EDIT: oh ****, I forgot Lewis fought prime Vitali. Now, that'd be quite difficult for Wladimir as it was for Lewis. I honestly believe prime Wlad is better H2H than prime Vitali but that's just me.
So now Wladimir would lose to Rudduck :rofl ****in' dumbass................Razor would get smashed against Wladimir, Tua is too slow & one dimesional, Mercer doesn't do anything better than Wladimir & it showed in his loss to Wlad if you remember correctly. Holyfield is too small for Wlad's jab & outside game. I won't even waste my time commenting on the rest since obviously you haven't got a clue.
So Rahman is a better fighter than Lewis? If they fought 10 times how many times would you expect Rahman to win?
When will the comedy end? So now Tua is a better fighter than Brewster or Peter who actually won & de3fended their belts? Tua never won **** worth mentioning & he isn't a better fighter than Lamon Brewster or Samuel Peter. :deal
The three guys who beat Wlad were one dimensional. The guy who had Wlad down three times was. The difference is that Tua hits harder than any, is a better finisher and has a better chin. Aside from that, he applies good, constant pressure with a high workrate. Tua KO3 Wlad.
Of course Tua is better than Brewster and Peter. More power, better chin, better stamina and far better technique.
Well yes, the ladies do call me "thick" but what's that got to do with you? :blood I read fine too thanks.
Tua fought in a era where the contenders in the division were a league above this pile of **** Wlad is fighting. What's Wlads best win? Chagaev? Peter? Please... Tua would have eaten these guys up for lunch. You're seen as one of the biggest fan boys on this site so expecting any sort of logic or objectivity from you is never going to happen which makes debating with you pointless
Fail. :-( Peter was WBC Champion what was Tua champ of again? Brewster was WBO Champ with defenses against Meehan (Which I thought he lost) Golota even faster than Lewis knocked Golota out, and a come from behind win against Krasniqi who is a very good boxer. Combine that with the fact that Brewster beat Wladimir and he's rated higher all time than Tua could ever hope for. Again, please tell me what Tua has accomplished at Heavyweight since turning pro?
He's still a better fighter Seriously, if you watch Tua and then Brewster and Peter, do you think the latter two are better fighters? As much as I like Brewster, he's clearly an inferior fighter to Tua. Peter is miles behind.
