I'm sure most of them aren't terrified, but he does present a risk for not a great deal of benefit compared with some of the old guard who seem to linger, these days. If you beat Fury, a lot of people will just dismiss Fury as hyped, as though it was an easy fight. A loss against one of the old names is easier to handle, career-wise, while a win against one of them brings more credit, as far as a lot of people are concerned. Couple that with the fact that there is probably not a great deal of money to be made fighting Fury, and that he is a little unpredictable as his style is still evolving (whereas you know what you are going to get from a Sprott or a Skelton etc.) then I think that it is probably more a case of fighters not needing to fight him than that they are terrified of him.
mcdermott used moloneys other heavys to spar for the fury fights, so just maybe moloney knows a bit more than most about who or who not to avoid, i tell you what, they know furys looking for an opponent know, weres the press releases sayying they want to fight him now, Ttyson isen't in the sport just for money, he likes to gamble, he's said many times he would fight winner take all. well i see no better time than the present to step on up and show the british public how good they are and how bad youve proved him to be.:good
To be fair it's not like Fury is on Sky Sports now saying David get your Gloves on is it? Talk is cheap. I wanna hear that Fury has made an offer for price to meet him (and a non stupid one at that).
They need to get Sprott, It's a decent fight and gets him good press. These HW like sexton,Mcdermott, are appalling and will get him nowhere except drag him down to their level. People see these names on cards and they just think "**** that"
