that may seem like a mis-match on paper but I've watched McMillan a lot and the boy has plenty of ability. I just hope the right temperament turns up. Interesting.
His weaknesses has been his inactivity and his temperament. He fought Gary Young in 2008 and there was needle in the build-up. Young, the more seasoned pro, got to McMillan. Fight ended a draw but McMillan fought like a man out on a Sat night looking for a scrap. He's been in the Wildcard with Roach, he's had good sparring over there. He's got a good jab, but carries his other hand too low sometimes, good all round movement and a good body hitter. Jennings by far is the more experienced and should have way too much. But I touted McMillan for a while, a long time ago. This is a great opportunity for him.
Macmillan is very awkward. His record suggests that he is not a puncher but I've been told by several people who spar him that he is one of the heaviest hitters they've been in with, It's strange that he doesn't get knockouts.
I think that this is a big test for Gary McMillain and he may prove everyone wrong I was at the bout with Gary Young and it was very poor bout which Young won yet had not boxed for two years . I think Gary McMillain has improved from that thow and could on the night beat Jenning as he has been known to have off nights so good luck Gary McMillain.
